I'm working in early intervention PT and a lot of my babies have helmets. They're not that bad. Usually the kids take a few days to a week to get used to them and then they don't even notice they're there. Every mom I know is glad they got the helmet. Although I did have a few moms who felt sorry for their babies and didn't keep the helmet on them. They kept taking it off to give them "breaks" but really they just prevented the baby from ever getting used to it and prevented the helmet from working. Now the babies are too old for helmets and still have misshapen heads. So the moral of that story is, stick it out and leave it on him. My niec...helmet shmelmet! He'll be just fine! <br />My niece Riley had to wear a hip brace for a few months and both Riley and Morgan got used to it! NBD! :) Plus he will be the cutest helmeted guy on the planet.<br /><br />PS- I NEED the chevron sleeper E is wearing in the photo on the right… but I can't find it?
